SANYO launches its most powerful HIT® solar module using 21.1% efficiency cells

SANYO Component Europe GmbH has surpassed its own efficiency record with the launch of its highest efficiency HIT® N Series product. The new ultra-efficient module is shipping to the UK and Europe in September.

  • The new HIT-N235SE10 now has 21.1% cell efficiency with a module output of 235W
  • This New N Series HIT® module offers more PV power per square metre, offering added benefits under the European Feed-in-Tariff scheme
  • 18.6% module efficiency is achieved through adopting 21.1% efficiency HIT® cells, new tab design and anti-reflection coated glass
  • This provides an 8.7% increase in efficiency over and above the 17.1% HIP-215NKHE5 and a 7.5% increase in efficiency over and above 17.3% HIT-240HDE4

SANYO Solar demonstrates high efficiency Solar Modules at Eco Build 2010

SANYO is pleased to announce that it will showcase its HIT Solar Technology at the SOLAR HUB at this year’s Eco Build show, taking place in London between 2nd and 4th March, 2010. The SOLAR HUB is one of 4 feature points at this year’s Eco Build. These feature points are designed to educate visitors on building trends and renewable technology and at the SOLAR HUB, a range of the latest solar solutions will be on display.
