SANYO launches search for Britain’s Biggest (Pancake) Tosser

Pancake Day has been celebrated for over a thousand years, but 2010 is the first time anyone has tried to find ‘Britain’s Biggest Tosser’ (of pancakes). SANYO has taken on the ambitious task, inviting pancake tossers throughout the UK to film their Shrove Tuesday fun and subject it to an online vote. The winner will receive a new SANYO Xacti camera, alongside the accolade of being Britain’s Biggest Tosser.

  • Entries to the first ever ‘Britain’s Biggest Tosser’ competition can be found at www.pancaketoss.com
  • Anyone can enter a video by simply emailing it to sanyo@pancaketoss.com or posting it to YouTube with the tag #SANYOPancakeToss
  • The winner will be the entry that is rated the highest by visitors to the website
  • Is not just size (of toss) that matters – voters will rate videos on entertainment value
  • SANYO will provide Britain’s Biggest Tosser with a brand new SANYO Xacti full HD Dual Camera
  • The competition is being run to celebrate the launch of the world’s smallest full HD camcorder, the Xacti VPC-CS1
  • Some entries already submitted to the competition can be seen to the right
