Premier Training International launches new venue at Northumbria University
Premier Training International, the market leader in the development and provision of high quality education for the health and fitness industry, has announced that it is launching a new venue at Sport Central, part of Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, in June.
- The Sport Central location will give Premier learners the opportunity to study in a state-of-the-art fitness facility. Having opened in 2010, the centre benefitted from a £30 million investment and boasts a wide range of sports facilities, including a 12m climbing wall, a 25m swimming pool, and a golf simulator – in addition to a fully equipped fitness centre
- The new venue will host a range of Premier Training courses; with the Tri-Planar Kettlebell course being the first to be offered on the 11th June
- The first full-time International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training, often considered the gold standard qualification within the health and fitness industry, will start on June 18th
David Rayner, Area Development Manager for Premier Training International, commented:
The new university venue is a fantastic move for us, and we are really excited to bring learners into what is essentially an ideal environment in which to deliver our range of health and fitness courses. We offer some of the best courses on the market and Sport Central offers some the best facilities in the country – so I think we make a natural partnership!
Colin Stromsoy, Head of Sport at Northumbria University, comments:
Northumbria University is delighted that Premier Training has chosen Sport Central as its new base in the North East. Sport Central already offers students, staff and members of the public access to some of the UK’s best facilities. However, working alongside partners such as Premier Training means Sport Central continues to offer more innovative and desirable sport and fitness services of the highest quality.
