Northgate appoints new Head of Accident Management and invests in the North East with four new promotions

Northgate Vehicle Hire, market leaders in flexible vehicle hire and fleet solutions, is celebrating four new promotions in the North East and a new appointment as it welcomes a new Head of Accident Management, following a successful start to the year.
- Previously Head of Central Operations, Nora Curry has been promoted to Operation Manager – Customer Support Centre (CSC) at Northgate’s Darlington head office. Campaign Manager, Jonathan Pearce has been promoted to Marketing Manager, and former Head of Fleet Management, Colin Wilson, is now Commercial Manager Non Rental in Gateshead
- Steve Granger has also been appointed as Head of Accident Management for Northgate Vehicle Hire and Fleet Technique
- His appointment follows six and a half years with BT Fleet as Operations Manger and 16.5 years with AXA Insurance were he held various assessing and management positions within the claims motor engineering team
- Steve’s role at Northgate will see him head up the operational management of the company’s team of in-house engineers, accident repair control, and recharge administrators. He will also be responsible for the operational performance of the network of external accident repairers
- It’s not only Northgate Vehicle Hire that’s started the New Year on a positive note, but Van Monster, which is part of Northgate PLC, too
- Former Sales Executive, Mark Hughes, has been promoted to General Sales Manager, seeing the foursome rewarded for their hard work over the last few years
