Say good-bye to the dreary summer and salsa on down to La Tasca!
Spanish tapas bar and kitchen, La Tasca Derby, is launching a fortnightly salsa night starting from Monday 30th July. Designed to get beginners on their feet and more experienced dancers fine-tuning their techniques, guests are guaranteed to dance the night away.
- It all kicks off at 7.00pm where beginners will be shown the basics by experienced dancers from Dance Cubana, a local dance company, while those more confident dancers will be able to fine tune their salsa moves
- And to make the evening even more authentically Spanish, tapas and wine will be served after the classes
- Tickets costing £16 for an hour class
Quotations:
Andrea Dewdney, General Manager at La Tasca Derby, said:
We have no doubt that the salsa evenings will be hugely successful and are sure the talent and appeal of local dance company, Dance Cubana, will ensure we get get bums on seats or feet on the dance floor. As an authentically Spanish restaurant we want to bring the energy and vibe of Spain to the people of Derby – especially during this gloomy, wet summer. The dance classes promise to be lots of fun and we hope to see many new faces at our restaurant.
