La Tasca brings 5PM Friday fiesta to Leeds
October 17, 2011
La Tasca Bar & Kitchen Leeds is harnessing the power of social media to make a difference to one local business’s Friday afternoon by treating them to a feast of authentic tapas and drinks, delivered straight to their office, on Friday 21st October. Dubbed ‘5PM Heroes’, businesses have from today until 11am on Friday to tweet @LaTasca with the hashtag #latascaheroes, or comment on the Facebook page, with the reason why they believe they should win a free fiesta. From winning new business to a stressful week – La Tasca’s 5PM Heroes say they will cater for any occasion.
- 5PM Heroes is the latest escapade of the recently re-vamped La Tasca in Leeds, the second in the country to receive the full makeover
- In September, La Tasca celebrated the launch of the new menu and interior with a flamenco flash mob
- Fiesty flamenco dancers surprised locals and visitors to the city centre at three separate locations in Leeds: Millennium Square, on Briggate and in The Light
- In the last month, La Tasca has been enticing local residents, businesses and visitors to experience the new sincerely-sourced Spanish menu which is based on the traditional tapas style of cuisine popular in Spain

Declan Woodward, General Manager at La Tasca Leeds commented:
Since the re-launch last month, local businesses have been enjoying La Tasca’s new menu, with our great lunch menu and with the addition of breakfasts especially. 5PM Heroes is our way to thank them for their support and to take the full La Tasca experience to them at the end of a long week.
