Carnival Pool Leisure Centre to host free swimming taste sessions this Easter

This Easter Carnival Pool Leisure Centre is kick-starting the Easter holidays by offering free swim taster sessions and swim assessments throughout the holidays.

  • The sessions will be lead by a fully qualified swim team and will be available throughout the Easter holiday from Tuesday 2nd until Friday the 4th April and again from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th April
  • Young swimmers aged between 3-5 years old can take part in a session running from 8:30am – 9:00am and child swimmers aged 5 and above can enjoy a session between 9:30 – 10:00am
  • The Easter sessions will give beginners the perfect opportunity to develop some fundamental skills for swimming and the 15-minute assessment sessions will help both children and adults of all ages and abilities identify their swimming capability and learn how they can develop to the next level
  • People who take part in the assessment sessions will also receive a voucher for next term’s courses

Quotations:

Geoff Evans, Business Manager for Carnival Pool Leisure Centre, said:

This is an exciting opportunity for the local community. The sessions will be great fun and I’m sure the children and adults alike will thoroughly enjoy themselves. We feel that it is really important to get the local community active and enjoying the water, and initiatives like this one are brilliant in terms of helping to achieve that aim.
