Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton raises money for charity
Members at Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton raised £100 for the British Heart Foundation during February, National Heart Month, by participating in a cycle challenge.
- Alun Williams, Charlotte Randor, James Myerscough and Rebecca Maltby successfully cycled 29 kilometres in 29 days to show their support for the charity
- The British Heart Foundation has gained support from thousands of people nationwide who raised money in a variety of creative ways including: red letter days, red Olympics and sweepstake events
- All the donations raised will be helping the charity continue to help prevent and cure heart disease
