Ladies Day comes to Peterlee Leisure Centre

On Saturday 8th October, Peterlee Leisure Centre will be opening its doors, completely free of charge, to local ladies that want to have fun, meet new friends and improve their health, as it shares what’s on offer at the centre, with the help of the East Durham Belles.

  • Encouraging women aged 16+ and living in East Durham to engage in physical activity, the East Durham Belles, a project funded by Sport England, will be on hand to showcase a variety of different activities.
  • These include badminton, Harpers Gym sessions, exercise classes, Swim 4 Fitness, aqua jogging, swimming, spinning, squash, and racketball.
  • Doors will be open between 10am and 2pm and a timetable of activities from the centre will be available. Anyone wishing to take part is advised to wear something comfortable and to bring a swimsuit for use during any of the pool activities.
