Dorking

Specialist courses come to Dorking Sports Centre

Dorking Sports Centre is helping keep teenagers and young adults active this autumn with three exciting new courses, on behalf of Sportivate. Starting 20th September, from as little as £1 per session, local youth residents can sign up to the new Kick Boxing, Life Saving Skills and Weight Training courses now.

Sportivate is a £32 million Lottery programme that gives 14-25 year olds access to six-week courses in a range of sports, including those offered at Dorking Sports Centre:

  • Kick Boxing (16-19 years) £1.00 a session and classes run every Tuesday 5.00pm – 6.00pm, beginning 20th September – 25th October
  • Life Saving Skills (16-21 years) £1.50 a session and classes run every Wednesday 6.30pm – 8.00pm, beginning 21st September – 26th October
  • Weight Training (16-21 years) £2.50 a session and classes run every Wednesday 7.00pm – 8.00pm, beginning 21st September – 26th October
