Willesden Sports Centre to hold birthday bash

Willesden Sports Centre will be celebrating its fifth birthday with a bash loaded full of family sporting fun on Saturday 5th November.

  • The multi-million pound sports facility is hosting an action packed day full of community sporting events aimed at all ages
  • Events include karate displays, gymnastics and an exciting Zumbathon where people can showcase their Zumba talent
  • As a thank you to the community and a bit of a birthday treat, the centre is giving away free swimming to each child that comes along with a paying adult
  • There will also be a bouncy castle and soft play area for families to get stuck in
  • Two students of the Kilburn Shotokan Karate Club, which is based at Willesden and Vale Farm Sports Centres, became World Champions at the recent SKDUN Shotokan Karate Do United Nations in Halle, Germany, and will be participating in the karate display from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
  • Tea, coffee and a birthday lunch will also be served from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
