QUOTATIONS
Alastair Stewart, Managing Director at etc.venues commented:
“I’m delighted to be announcing yet more growth right at the start of the year following the two new venues we opened in 2011. Despite tough economic conditions we see an opportunity in this part of the City to take on some of the established venues we think have become tired.
Clients and our agency partners have been encouraging me to open something new and better in this part of London for some time so I hope we will deliver on this expectation with our new design ideas, including some specifically around Generation Y delegates.
We know that good demand is there for the right venue setup in the right location and our designers have produced some exciting ideas for the impressive 3,000 square foot ‘Galleria’ which acts as a focal point for the venue.
We have already seen good levels of interest and pre-bookings which is a great sign that businesses are taking a positive approach to 2012.”
Franck Rosello, Interior Designer for the venue commented
“To be able to start with a blank canvas of 20.000 sq ft on a single floor with wonderful ceiling height and natural light is a rare opportunity. The focal point of the design is a striking, multi-functional ‘galleria’ that can be used for exhibitions, networking, catering or dining. The vibrant restaurant area is supported by a series of stylish coffee points and break out spaces with food prepared in the on-site open kitchen by our own team of chefs. For the Generation Y group we’ve pushed the boundaries on some of the interior design and fittings and we have a few surprises in store.”
