On Wednesday 18th April there are only 100 days until the Olympic opening ceremony and to get people into the sporting spirit, Dorking Sports Centre is offering children the chance to swim for free with a paying adult and the opportunity to win a swimming bag for the first 100 swimmers.
On Saturday 10th March, the Dorking Deepdene Rotary Club will host its annual Swimarathon at Dorking Sports Centre at 7.00am until 5.00pm. The event will raise money for a number of different charitable organisations chosen by the participating swimming teams.
Dorking Sports Centre is to hold a Swimathon on Saturday 28th April between 6.00pm and 8.30pm and on Sunday 29th April between 4.30pm and 7.00pm to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Dorking Sports Centre is offering free taster swim sessions for adults and children during the February half term.
Dorking Sports Centre has launched an Aquatic Youth Club starting Thursday 12th January at 4.30-5.30pm.
