On Sunday 10th March Dorking Sports Centre will be hosting a Spinathon from 09.15am until 15.15pm in a bid to support Terry Munson, a member of the centre, and his team who will be rowing across the Atlantic this June. All proceeds will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Dorking Sports Centre is offering the £1 swimming crash course from Monday to Friday at 9.00am -11.30am during half term to all children who are non-swimmers.
This October Dorking Sports Centre is fully supporting Stoptober, a new, exciting 28-day challenge to stop smoking, by offering residents and their families who are giving up smoking a free three-day gym pass and one 30 minute personal training to help assist them in their new healthy lifestyle.
Dorking local residents who took part in Swimathon Weekend 2012 at Dorking Sports Centre have raised £4075 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief. They have helped to contribute to the fantastic fundraising total of over £2.3million that Swimathon Weekend has raised so far this year!
