Worcester Swimming Pool to host County Swimming Championships

Worcester Swimming Pool has announced it will be hosting the county swimming championships on 10th, 11th and 24th March, which will see teams from all over Worcestershire drawn from local clubs, youth organisations and schools.

  • Taking place between 8.00am and 8.00pm, each team participating will race 400m free style, 50m free style and 200 individual medley, and races will be taking place throughout the day.

Kate Mason, Swimming Development Manager for Worcester Swimming Pool, said:

We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to host the county swimming championships. Each year it grows in size and attracts swimmers from across the region. Our very own Tabby Monkhouse is hoping to retain her county championship medal for 100m butterfly; we’re all fully behind her and can’t wait to see what the competition will bring!
