Staff member at St Crispin’s Leisure Centre is to take part in the London Marathon
Shane Venn, a full-time personal trainer at St Crispin’s Leisure Centre in Wokingham will run the London half Marathon on the 22nd April to raise money for Wheelpower, one of the centre’s chosen charities.
- In preparation for the challenge Shane has been running with Bracknell Forest running club, taking part in various running events such as the Wokingham half marathon, Cranleigh 21 and Maidenhead 10

Here at St Crispin’s we are always trying to encourage people to participate in sporting activities to keep fit and Wheelpower is a great charity that encourages the same thing. We are really proud that Shane is going to great lengths to help the charity and raise as much money as possible.

I always encourage myself and the centre’s members to push themselves with their fitness and I hope this will be a good example, I’m really motivated to challenge myself and hope to raise as much money as possible for Wheelpower during the run up to the London Marathon.
