Loddon Valley Leisure Centre launches Mini Tennis Lessons

With lessons held every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for the next 10 weeks, Loddon Valley Leisure Centre is encouraging children from across Wokingham to come and have a mini tennis lesson.

  • The mini tennis lessons aim to improve a child’s tennis skills and earn their stripes through the LTA Mini Tennis Awards, they are available to children aged between 3 and 11 years old
  • Costing £30 per term for 3 – 8 years,  £45 per term for 8 – 10 years and £60 per term for 9 – 11 years, children who join the programme at the centre can also become a member
  • The sessions will be lead by head coach, Greg Santoro-Fergusson, an LTA senior club coach. He has played National and International tennis and has wide experience coaching beginners to advanced players

Quotations:

Tony Penge, Contract Manager for Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, said:

The mini tennis lessons are all about enjoying the sport and meeting new friends. We’re thrilled to be able to offer this 10-week programme and the chance to be coached by Greg, who is an outstanding player, to the children of our local community; we hope they really get stuck into it and come away thinking they have improved.
