Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton offers £1 Easter swimming

Getting into the spirit of the season, Parklands Leisure Centre in Okehampton is offering members of the local community the opportunity to go swimming for just £1 over the Easter weekend.

  • With the swimming offer available from Good Friday to Easter Monday, the centre is also hosting activities for children on Easter Sunday – including face painting classes and an Easter egg treasure hunt.

Quotations:

Jon Smith, Contract Manager at Parklands Okehampton Leisure Centre, said:

This is an exciting opportunity for the local community. We feel that it is really important to get the local community active, and we hope that the £1 swimming offer is a great way to make the most of the Easter weekend. Similarly, we hope that the extra Easter activities at Parklands will help keep the kids entertained! The Easter egg hunt promises to be great fun and I’m sure both children and adults alike will thoroughly enjoy themselves.
